MISCHA
Mischa is a French American educator, music collector, and DJ with Sino-Lebanese heritage. He currently teaches history and critical thinking at an international school in Mumbai, India. In his free time, you can find him scouring record shops for obscure vinyl, taking photos of derelict industrial areas, or reading pretentious books over a cup of strong coffee. He is always looking to connect with creatives who share his aesthetic taste, which sits somewhere between fantasy and realism, playfulness, and perversion, the groovy and the broody.
AANCHAL
Aanchal is a recovering lawyer turned filmmaker hailing from Delhi via London. She writes and directs her own films, which aim to promote unheard voices from the Global South. She is interested in using film as an avenue to explore contemporary issues in culture, such as labour conditions, the consumption of South Asian culture, and the globalisation of music. When she isn’t brooding about inequality, she can be found walking her dog, zoning out to music on max, or browsing self-help books. She is inspired by people and their passions, and if she digs you and what you do, she will be your hype woman for life.
WE DREAM TOGETHER TO BE PART OF A COMMUNITY THAT WE CAN GROW WITH. WE’VE ALWAYS BEEN INTERESTED IN BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS LEARNING, CREATIVITY, AND CHALLENGE – WHETHER THROUGH FILM, MUSIC, OR DEBATE.
ANY OTHER AMOUNT IS OUR ATTEMPT TO CREATE A SPACE THAT WE FELT WAS MISSING – A CREATIVE HOME FOR EVERYONE – TO ACCESS, CHALLENGE AND ENJOY CULTURE FREELY, WITHOUT BARRIERS OF CLASS, CASTE, RELIGION, OR NATIONALITY.
